03 Provide low-carbon feedstock for chemical producers

Supply chemical producers with low carbon H₂ and sustainable CO feedstocks for reducing emissions in chemical manufacturing processes

...

04 Address hard-to- abate industrial sectors like cement, steel, and mining

Focus on challenging heavy industries where emissions are difficult to eliminate, offering tailored modular reactors for cleaner production in cement plants, steelworks and mining operations

The Shipping Case

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) mandates a 40% reduction in carbon intensity by 2030 and aims for 70% by 2050, relative to 2008 levels. Meanwhile, the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), FuelEU Maritime regulation, and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) are imposing rising costs on GHG emissions and incentivizing low-carbon fuel adoption. The pressure to decarbonize is urgent and growing.

Traditional approaches to shipping decarbonization—such as carbon capture, switching to biofuels, or transitioning to ammonia or hydrogen—face significant technical, infrastructural, and economic challenges. Methane pyrolysis solution offers a unique, disruptive approach.

Our technology enables onboard or shoreside conversion of LNG into hydrogen fuel and solid carbon. Unlike conventional combustion, this process prevents CO₂ emissions entirely, offering a clean, efficient, and infrastructure-compatible solution for shipowners looking to meet emissions targets without costly overhauls and the solid carbon byproduct can be easily collected and sent to onshore facilities for transformation into valuable materials creating a closed-loop system.

The Shipping Challenge

  • Carries over 80% of international traded goods
  • Around 60,000 ocean-bound vessels in the world
  • Emits ~3% of global GHGs
  • Strict timeline to decarbonize
  • Ships built to last > 30 years
  • Infrastructure limitations
  • Limited resources onboard

Our Unique Offering

  • A plug-and-play modular technology enabling flexible installation onboard
  • Utilization of available fuel (liquefied natural gas) on board
  • On supply on demand hydrogen production without the need for hydrogen storage
  • Production of stable, easily storable solid carbon which can be sent to onshore facilities for transformation into valuable materials
...

We can support and help industries that:

  • Need low-carbon fuels in the range of “1-200 tons/day”
  • Have access to LNG and or are seeking to turn waste gases into valuable low-carbon products
  • Want to generate revenue from waste carbon and reduce compliance costs
